Cameo optreden stadsdeelbestuur Zuid in Noord/Zuidlijn filmpje op IDFA

Onderdeel van het nieuwe media programma van het IDFA dat afgelopen week plaatsvond was het filmpje “Random shot of reality” van Teresa van Twuijver. In het filmpje is tapdanser Marije Nie te zien die langs alle stations van de Noord/Zuidlijn danst. Met daarin een opmerkelijke cameo appearance van stadsdeelbestuur Zuid.

“Random shot of reality” volgens de maker:

Noord-Zuidlijn (North-South line) is a 27 second documentary about the most controversial and most expensive public transport project in The Netherlands. Constructing a metro line from the north to the south of Amsterdam is taking much more time, much more money, much more adventurous engineering and much more political upheaval than was foreseen at the start. Meanwhile the city of Amsterdam is dealing with gigantic construction sites of the half-built metro line in its city centre. The work at these sites has not only destroyed historic houses but is also seriously affecting the public space. In the film there is a cameo appearance of a group of municipal officials visiting the site at Europaplein.

  Dit doet mij denken aan, aanleggen IJtunnel, en ik elke week met trein naar Breda moest als dienstplichtig soldaat. jaren 50. Ook toen keek ik geítresseerd hoe de bouw vorderde. Ook nu een nog groter werk. Geweldig dat ons kleine Nederland dit kan waarmaken. Wij zijn enorm trots op u allen.
